As you all know, I'm Catherine (aka Cathy) Rivera (pronounced: Rih-vehr-ah) and as you can tell, lots of people mispronounce my name. When I was five years old, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I've had it for ten years now. But I don't let that shtuff get me down. I'm very opinionated and I'm kinda harsh on my friends but for some odd reason, they like me anyways (they must be masochistic). I'm in high school now and I love photography (DUH!) . Anime and manga are my #1 love and I also like reading other books. I don't like vain people or airheads, they piss me off. Oh, and I'm very blunt. I'm also Hispanic, Colombian and Puerto Rican to be exact. If you like me, talk with me! I can be friendly if I want to be. If you don't like me, leave me alone because I don't like you either ^^

So as you all have seen, I don't get on here very often. Therefore, I made a new account. I guess you could just say that this one got a bit stuffy with all of my old work and such. I mean, I do still like some of it and all, but I want to start over. Who knows? Maybe it'll be helpful.

Once again the time has come for the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes in my area! And my best friend Jessi and I are raising money! We would really appreciate it if you guys could click on this link ( http://www2.jdrf.org/site/TR?pg=team&fr_id=1878&team_id=56780 ) and donate some money and share this page asking to help us out. Every dollar counts and we would really love to reach our goal! I know that I don't know most of you personally but diabetes really sucks and all of the money we raise goes straight to research for finding a cure! Please help a stranger out!
